Watch the mind... don't mind the watch

"In 2006, when I was looking online for a meditation timer, I saw the Pranna timer. There was no question in my mind that this was going to be how I timed my meditation. Being a woodworker, I ordered Dave’s kit and made my own. I have used the timer for the past four years, and its use has become a beautiful ritual in my practice. I delight in creating works of art, and I believe you will enjoy the beauty of the Pranna timer design, its function and the wood."

Michael's craftsmanship is excellent and his timers feature handcrafted wire loops custom matched to each timer. Each timer is signed and numbered by the artist.

"When I first saw photographs and plans of the Pranna timers, I was impressed by the unique design. Using woodworking skills I learned from my father, I am enjoying working with an assortment of woods to produce an object that is both aesthetically pleasing and practical. Many years of playing classical guitar has put me in touch with the infinite diversity of wood. The creative process of making the timers is fascinating because I never know what natural patterns will appear in the wood of the finished timer. Each timer is remarkably distinctive.

Now retired from over 30 years of the practice of architecture I am able to deeply appreciate the fusion of form and function. It is a pleasure to be able to provide an exceptional product that is beautiful, useful and locally crafted."
